13. Edition of Special Power League – most teams participating so far

When you read the names of the participating clubs, you know that a real sports spectacle follows. GNK Dinamo, HNK Hajduk, HNK Rijeka, NK Osijek, NK Slaven Belupo Koprivnica, NK Istra 1961, NK Sloga Čakovec, Munchen 1860 and selection of North Macedonia all on same pitch in Valbruna Rovinj.

9 teams, 8 amazing matches for each team and real fun and friendship that united it all into top football. A large number of good moves, goals scored, celebration of goals and even a few tears marked this wonderful edition of the SPL. Of course, in the end, all the winners celebrated and enjoyed together on the football fields and outside of them in Rovinj.

The participants had a great time playing football together with the main goal of raising awareness of the importance of social inclusion through sports. This was noticed by parents, coaches, associates and others, so they were also satisfied with the realization of the project and the achieved results.

This is really what SPL is about, socializing, inclusion, playing sports and having fun and we are proud that Health Life Academy created the foundations for something like this. We would like to thank our friends from associations and  institutions working with children and persons with disabilities: SILab Association, Association ‘Veliko Srce’ from Koprivnica, Association ‘Pogled’ from Nedelišće, Association for Down Syndrome 21 Split, Association for Down Syndrome 21 Rijeka, Association for Down Syndrome 21 Zagreb, School of Education Pulaeducational centers for children with disabilities “Ivan Štark” Osijek.
