Health Life Academy (HLA) is proud to announce its involvement in the exciting YOUCamp project, an Erasmus+ initiative designed to enhance the skills and “life skills” of young people through sports and international exchange. Coordinated by CSIT, the International Sport for All Confederation, YOUCamp brings together HLA and five other esteemed European sports organizations.
Following the success of YOULead, the previous edition of the International Sports Academy YouAca, and the establishment of a youth camp working group within CSIT, YOUCamp aims to organize youth sports camps for participants aged 14 to 19. The project’s primary objectives are:
- Promoting a healthy lifestyle for all
- Fostering gender equality in multi-sport activities
- Increasing youth participation in sports
At the camps, participants will work together to create regulations that ensure fairness and inclusion in innovative sports activities. These guidelines will cover key elements such as team composition, participant requirements, camp specifics, modifications, duration, penalties, and scoring.
YOUCamp encourages the active involvement of participants in organizing sports activities, with support from intergenerational teams at the local level.
Coordinated by CSIT, the project involves HLA and the following partners:
- AiCS (Italy)
- TUL (Finland)
- UCEC (Spain)
- ASKÖ (Austria)
- HOCSH (Greece)
We are excited to be part of this meaningful project, and we look forward to contributing to its goals of empowering young people, promoting inclusion, and fostering collaboration across Europe. Stay tuned for more updates on YOUCamp!
