“Hajduk is everything in my life and my heart is full of Hajduk.” It is a sentence that many remember and in which many lovers of HNK Hajduk recognized themselves. Although a lot has been said and written about Hajduk in its 110 years of existence, few sentences have summed up the emotion and love of the fans for Hajduk as well as the one uttered by Luka Bučević.
Cooperation between Down Syndrome Association Split 21 and Hajduk’s fans grew stronger each day, and reached its peak by enrolling 8 members of Hajduk’s Special Power Team in the park “Za sva vrimena”.
Places in the park for Luka, Filip, Antonio, Ante, Ana, Vice, Kristijan and Marin were provided by the Society “Društvo prijatelja Hajduka” from New York with the help of an anonymous donor from Split.
Their usual training on Tuesdays had a special guest this week. Namely, Stefan Simić joined Hajduk’s Special Power team in training, and upon completion, in the park “Za sva vrimena”, he handed them plaques with their names and appropriate gifts.
The love of the fans for their club is shown day by day, and it is best embodied by Luka and his friends and their names forever with Hajduk.
