With the online Kick-off meeting held on 14.-15.12.2020. 2 year project INSIDE – social INcluSion of people with Intellectual DisabilitiEs through sport has officially started. Project Coordinator Organization Earth (Greece) along with Health Life Academy, US ACLI (Italy), EEA Margarita (Greece), Barca Foundation (Spain), ARCIL (Portugal)will engage in the project Co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
INSIDE project aims to promote social inclusion and empowerment of people with intellectual disabilities (PwID) by enhancing their access and participation to sport activities.
The partnership highly recognizes the need for offering organized adapted physical activities to PwID in order to promote equal opportunities, social inclusion and empowerment as well as a healthy lifestyle.
