We are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the 23rd edition of the Special Power League (SPL), a project held in Rijeka in collaboration with NK Rijeka for the first time on June 3-4, 2024.

The event brought together various organizations and institutions, including POGLED – Association for Autism, Bili tići – Sports Association for People with Down Syndrome, Rijeka 21, Association for Down Syndrome-Zagreb, and the Center for Education and Rehabilitation “Ivan Štark.” 🤝
Athletes enjoyed various sports activities, showcasing their skills and promoting values such as equality, friendship, and fair play. The inclusive program began with a joint viewing of the match between Croatia and North Macedonia, where all teams cheered in their Croatian jerseys.

The main event on Tuesday included exciting football matches at the Robert Komen field. Participants displayed their football talents and enjoyed additional activities organized by the Sports Union – “Primorsko-goranska” County and the Teaching Institute of Public Health PGŽ.

In light of promoting physical activity and health, event also celebrated movement as part of NowWeMove 2024. Campaign.  MOVE Week is an annual global event showcasing the benefits of being active and participating regularly in sport and physical activity.

The event concluded with an awards ceremony where representatives Rade Ljepojević (HNK Rijeka), Nevenka Vlah (NZZJZPGŽ), and Dario Jagić (SPL) presented trophies, medals, and special gifts to the participants.
A big thank you to all participants, organizations, clubs, and the Croatian Football Federation for their participation and support of the project.
