As part of the PlanetGoals project, our third Community Engagement Event was organized to mark the European School Sports Day (ESSD) — a Europe-wide initiative encouraging children to be active, healthy, and connected through sport.
The event took place in Pula, bringing together students, teachers, and volunteers for a day full of movement, games, and nature-based activities.
About the Event:
The ESSD event focused on promoting physical activity, environmental awareness, and social inclusion, aligning with PlanetGoals’ mission to combine sustainability, health, and community engagement.
Participants enjoyed:

⚽ Playground games that encouraged movement and fun
🤝 Collaborative challenges designed to strengthen friendships and inclusivity
The atmosphere was filled with laughter, energy, and connection, reminding everyone that sport and nature are powerful tools for learning, cooperation, and wellbeing.
