In anticipation of the CSIT Catch’n Serve Ball Single Championship tournament to be held in Rovinj, Croatia, from June 5th to 9th, 2024, a seminar for coaches and referees (Basic level) was held last weekend in Metlika, Slovenia, with teams from Croatia and Slovenia participating. Over two intensive days, seminar participants went through theoretical and practical examples of player preparation and training, tactics, and game rules.
The seminar was an opportunity for future coaches and referees to get acquainted and exchange experiences and ideas with colleagues from other clubs and countries. During the seminar, participants had the opportunity to learn about various aspects of the game, as well as tactical strategies and game rules.
In addition to the theoretical part of the seminar, participants had the opportunity to practically apply what they learned through various exercises and game simulations.
Seminar participants expressed satisfaction with the organization and content of the seminar and highlighted that they gained useful knowledge and skills that will help them in their future work. It is expected that this seminar will contribute to the development of Catch’n Serve Ball in the region and that similar seminars will be organized in the future.
