The 21st edition of the “Special Power League” project – a sports league for people with disabilities – was held in Osijek (December 2-3, 2023).<\/p>

Another wonderful edition of the project was held in the sports hall “Gradski Vrt” in Osijek, where our participants had a great time playing football and other activities for two days. This edition is especially important because another team has joined our family, NK Lokomotiva Special Power Team.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The participants of the 21st edition of the SPL project were NK Istra 1961 Special Power Team, NK Sloga \u010cakovec Special Power Team, NK Slaven Belupo Special Power Team, HNK Rijeka Special Power Team, NK GO\u0160K Dubrovnik Special Power Team, GNK Dinamo Special Power Team, NK Lokomotiva Special Power Team, NK Osijek Special Power Team, HNK Hajduk Special Power Team.<\/p>

On December 2nd, our participants had the opportunity to watch the Croatian Football League match between the hosts NK Osijek vs. HNK Rijeka, and some of them had the opportunity to go out\u00a0 on the field before the game.
After the match, all participants gathered for a joint dinner, and with music and socializing, we brought the first day to an end.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

On the second day, December 3, soccer matches were held in the “Gradski Vrt” sports hall, where you could see the spectacular goals and skills shown by the participants. What is most important, everything happened in a fun atmosphere, socializing, singing and creating new friendships.
After the tournament, it was time to award trophies to all participants and special gifts provided by the host of the tournament, NK Osijek.<\/p>

The continuity and successful development of this socially responsible project was supported by HNS, UEFA, the Mateo Kova\u010di\u0107 Foundation, associations for work with people with developmental disabilities, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Croatia, as well as numerous sports clubs in Croatia and abroad.<\/p>
