As part of the multiplier event, HLA organized practical sports activities for people with\u00a0developmental disabilities and other accompanying activities in the form of workshops and\u00a0lectures with the aim of presenting the results of the project.
Multiplier event was organized as a two-day program in the sports hall of the Mate Demarin\u00a0elementary school in Medulin. On the first day, the project participants took part in an inclusive\u00a0handball activity training, during which the results of the IO1, IO2 project were presented. The\u00a0training activities were adapted to the abilities and possibilities of the participants in\u00a0cooperation with professionals working with children with intellectual disabilities and handball
trainers. Later on participants were divided in groups from which each group organized and\u00a0demonstrated 1 training activity of simple handball exercises. During the activity participants\u00a0also discussed about the importance of sport activities and explained basic rules of handball\u00a0through group discussion.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

On the second day, inclusive football activities were organized. Children and young people had\u00a0a great time playing football, scored goals, presented their football skills, but also demonstrated\u00a0other values of football and sports such as togetherness, equality and fair play. During a break\u00a0from sports activities, members of HLA presented the Capacity building training course for professionals working with PWiD and the web-platform.\u00a0<\/p>

The activities were held in cooperation with partner associations: Association “Veliko Srce” from Koprivnica, Association “Latice” from Koprivnica, Association “Pogled” from Nedeli\u0161\u0107e,\u00a0Association for Down Syndrome 21 Split, Association for Down Syndrome 21 Rijeka, School\u00a0of Education Pula, Center for Education “Ivan \u0160tark” Osijek.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The ceremonial opening and award ceremony were enriched by the Mayor of Medulin Ivan\u00a0Kirac, President of the Sports Association of the City of Medulin Bruno Rado\u0161evi\u0107, Head of\u00a0the Administrative Department for General Affairs and Social Activities of the Municipality of\u00a0Medulin Nenad Vojni\u0107, who presented trophys, medals and special gifts to the participants.\u00a0<\/p>

During the 2 days of the project, football sports activities were held, as well as other sports and\u00a0entertainment activities aimed at children and young people, as well as parents, which raised\u00a0the quality level of the project itself.The participants of the event, their parents and professional\u00a0associates and other participants had a great time and showed great satisfaction with the event.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
